This original, timeless MaryGwyneth design is a short swing-style jacket with plunging back hemline and full, set-in sleeves. A beautiful style for any age woman when paired beautifully over a plain strapless or deep neckline shift, or with a skirt and blouse. It’s perfect for wedding attendants, an evening out to dinner, or a pleasant lunch with friends.
The light tropical gabardine wool shell and creamy floral jacquard weave silk lining help take the chill off a breezy spring day or cool evening, but the natural, lightweight fabrics still provide a breathable comfort that’s tough to replicate in an artificial fabric.
The lovely trailing vine and blossom embellishments in subtle hues of earth, grass, twig, coral, lilac, and soft white, are made using softly hand spun, natural brown sheep wool, dyed alpaca, and cotton-rayon chenille yarns, stitched with colored rayon threads.
