Reminiscent of the early part of the twentieth century, this rosette barrette from the MaryGwyneth Golden Garden Collection adds an unexpected flourish to any hairstyle. Similar flowers grace the couture Golden Garden Coat.
The red wine and black iridescent dupioni is fringed to reveal the silk’s contrasting threads, with metallic thread stitching. Dark green silk leaves accent the piece, and it’s finished with sparkling drops of glass beads and crystals that move when you toss your locks.
A spring snap barrette clasp is enclosed inside a hand sewn silk backing. The rosette is 3 1/2″ diameter, plus leaves and bead drops.
