A few pieces not listed on Etsy, particularly scarves and a few handbags, are always available at the gift shop of the St. Lawrence County Arts Council, 51 Market St., Potsdam, NY. A portion of the proceeds go towards supporting this very active, nonprofit arts organization.
Local Alterations
Custom work and alterations for local customers for things like suits, gowns, etc. are offered as a courtesy in this economically challenged region at the cost of labor plus materials, no markup. Borderline Quilters Guild members receive an additional 10% discount from that price. At the present time there is no NYS sales tax charged on sewing alterations.
